Director - Restructuring and Advisory

Their well-established UK Restructuring team is seeking a Director to join their dynamic team. The team has a proven track record of handling complex advisory assignments and insolvency appointments, contributing to some of the most high-profile restructuring cases in the UK and overseas.

About the Role: As a Director you will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of case work. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting partners and directors in preparing and pitching for new assignments, offering innovative solutions to client issues.
  • Leading client relationships, identifying opportunities for new work, and contributing to the development of new products and services.
  • Mentoring team members to deliver excellent client service and fostering their professional development.
  • Taking responsibility for compliance, risk management, budgets, and billing to ensure timely and profitable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply technical knowledge effectively in resolving client problems and advancing projects.
  • Be the lead contact for multiple client relationships, balancing risks and commercial opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for lenders and stakeholders.
  • Understand the market, identify business opportunities, and maintain a strong network of contacts.

Qualifications and Experience: To thrive as an Associate Director, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) with over five years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in financial services restructuring, business reviews, winddown planning, and insolvency appointments.
  • CPI or JIEB qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrable ability to build and interpret Financial Models.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage small teams and report directly to lead partners or directors.
