Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing independent commercial insurance brokerage based in Leeds City Centre. This is a brand new role and would suit an individual with commercial broking / account handling experience who is keen to work towards a Team Leader / Manager position.

Supporting a team of Account Directors, you will assist in the day to handling of clients, mainly mid-market and small number of larger corporates, premiums ranging from £10k into the £100k’s +. Using Acturis system, you will be dealing with predominately existing business, making amendments, marketing and negotiating renewals and to a lesser extent, compiling submissions on new cases.

Our client is keen to grow the team, and so you will have a significant involvement in recruiting new team members, training and developing the team, managing work flow, and taking a lead on the larger cases.

As the business continues to grow, it is anticipated that this role will continue to evolve into a more senior position, most likely Director Level and with an active involvement in the strategic development of the business and the rewards that come with it.

Ideal applicants will have at least 3 years commercial broking experience and be looking for an opportunity where you can make a big difference and be allowed to use your creative flare to benefit the business. You will be smart, professional and with a natural inclination to provide an exceptional level of service to clients.
