You will be joining an established team with a large caseload and great experienced support staffThe role will see the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on:* Manage a varied caseload of contentious construction matters, including litigation, arbitration, adjudication, and mediation.* Advise clients on construction disputes involving defects, delays, payment issues, and contract breaches.* Draft and review pleadings, witness statements, and expert reports.* Represent clients in court, arbitration, and adjudication hearings.* Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes.* Assist in drafting and negotiating construction contracts, subcontracts, and collateral warranties* Provide advice on procurement routes, project risk management, and contract administration.The Ideal Construction Solicitor will:* Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing clear, commercially focused advice.* Work collaboratively with other teams within the firm to deliver a full-service offering to clients.* Participate in business development activities, including networking events, seminars, and client presentations.If you could be interested in hearing more about this opportunity they be sure to apply within or get in touch with Millie Ebbrell of Simpson Judge for an initial confidential conversation.
