Interim Management Accountant - Redcentric Data Centres

Redcentric plc are in the process of splitting their business into two separate divisions and legal entities. Redcentric Data Centres Ltd will become a new subsidiary entity under Redcentric plc. The new entity has 8 data centres across the UK and has 500 customers. Interim finance resource is required to support the set-up of the new Data Centre entity.

This interim role will be key to the separation of the two businesses. The individual needs to be dynamic and very hands on, keen to get involved in any area of the transition. On a day to day basis the role will be fluid and the individual needs to be able to get work across a number of tasks at once. The Key tasks and areas that the individual will be involved;

1. Revenue and Customers

• Revenue reconciliation to underlying contracts.
• Supporting sales teams with Customer contract review and assignment to new business.
• Supporting the team migrating billing and accounting for revenue into the new business.
• Supporting the Management Accounts team in setting up month end revenue processes.

2. Suppliers

• Supporting supplier contract novation.
• Supporting the Management Accounts team in setting up month end cost processes.

3. Cut-over

• Supporting the initial financial cut-over to Redcentric Data Centres.
• Assisting in ensuring that cut-over is clean and there is a clear audit trail for financial entries.

4. Management accounts

• Supporting the building and development of new Management Accounts packs.
