We are working with a Global Manufacturing business that specializes in high-quality precision engineering based in Shipley. They have an outstanding reputation for innovative technologies and delivering first-class quality assemblies and critical components.

Are you ready to make a real impact in a dynamic and growing team? We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Tool Room Operative to join our clients pit crew area. This is not just a job; it's an opportunity to contribute to a vital function within the company, ensuring that machines never stop due to tooling delays.

What's in it for You

* Up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

* 40 hours per week, flexible working. Monday - Friday, start between 06:30-08:30 / finish 15:30-19:30.

About the job:

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our clients operations, collaborating closely with your team to achieve seamless workflow and efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Assemble, measure, and disassemble tooling for Milling and Turning machines according to the master schedule.

* Utilize existing tooling sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain high quality and consistency.

* Monitor tool wear upon return and ensure the upkeep of fixtures.

* Stay ready to respond swiftly and efficiently when tooling is needed on short notice.

* Work closely with Engineers on the shop floor to facilitate seamless operations.

* Acquire skills to operate essential machinery such as the Tool Pre-Setter, balance machine, and shrink machine.
