Venture Recruitment is partnered with a growing manufacturing business in its search for a diligent and proactive Management Accountant to provide crucial financial support to the group. This is a stable and varied role, ideal for an experienced accountant looking to manage a small team and contribute significantly to the business's continued growth.

This role requires a hybrid working arrangement, with one to two days per week in Southampton and occasional travel to the Farnborough offices.

Key Responsibilities: 

Preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
Supporting with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Analyse financial data and trends to provide meaningful insights.
Assist with responding to audit queries, providing audit samples, and liaising with auditors.
Identify and implement improvements and efficiencies in management accounting processes.
HMRC reporting, including VAT via MTD, p11Ds, etc.
Processing payroll on a weekly basis
Handle ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
Credit Control
 Key Skills and Experience: 

Experience within the industry at a minimum of Management Accountant level
Accountant qualified, whether by experience (min 3 years) or professional Qualification
Great written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Payroll Expe
Ability to work independently.
