GCP | Terraform | Java

SR2 has been engaged by a leading business to help migrate a number of legacy applications from on-prem to GCP. This will also involve building out and establishing new features coupled with building upon existing ones.

This role sits within a development team as a Cloud SME and the go-to person for all cloud-orientated queries and questions. As such, we require someone who is proficient with ideally GCP (can consider AWS) but also understanding and knowledge of Java. Since the applications are built in Java and this role sits within a Development team, to effectively aid with the SoW, the ability to read and ideally write in Java would be essential.

Skills/Experience

• GCP - AWS Can be considered but an understanding and willingness to pick up GCP would be necessary
• Terraform
• Java - ideally someone coming from a development/Java background but the ability to read and potentially write in Java will be essential

The role will be 6 months, inside IR35 and FULLY REMOTE. The budget signed off will be £550p/d.
