Reed Finance is proud to be working in partnership with a global entertainment business to recruit a diligent and experienced Tax Manager.

Working closely with the wider business functions nationally and internationally, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the UK and international tax obligations across all divisions.

Duties Include:

• Ensuring compliance with VAT laws and regulations across the UK, Europe, and other regions. Preparing and submitting UK VAT returns and manage ad hoc VAT claims.
• Assisting with the management of the UK compliance processes, including preparing tax packs for UK Corporation Tax returns and capital allowance analysis.
• Preparing year-end group and single entity statutory account disclosures. Regularly reviewing group forecasts for accounting and tax planning purposes.
• Working closely with the International Tax team on sales tax returns and provide regular updates to the US corporation tax team.
• Liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements.

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with/or Tax qualification (CTA).
• Knowledge of UK/EU VAT law and compliance processes is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary and benefits:

The role of Tax Manager is £65,000pa to £75,000pa DOE plus annual discretionary bonuses and flexible working.
