The role - Science Teacher

I am working with a PRU in Greenwich that is looking for a Science Teacher to join their team next year. For this role you must ensure effective curriculum coverage, continuity and progression in each subject area or any other subject you are responsible for as a class teacher, for all students. For this Science teacher role, you must prepare lessons thoroughly and record and report student achievement. You will need to ensure a level of discipline conductive to learning in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school. You will be reporting back to the Head of Department and establish clear teaching objectives in lessons and use appropriate teaching and learning methods.

The school - PRU

The school is a PRU based in Greenwich that caters for girls aged 11 - 16 years old. Their vision is to have key strategies to help manage and regulate students emotions appropriately and that they have the confidence to seek help where and when needed. The school's purpose is to act in the best interest of the students and the school community by delivering quality education, pastoral and specialist support for students. The school has local bus routes and a close underground station.
