About the Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £15.5 million residential scheme in Stretford, set to commence in November 2024. The project involves the construction of apartments and housing for a housing association, and the ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing residential projects of this scale.

Experience with Steel Framing Systems (SFS) is highly desirable, as this construction method will be key to the development. You will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring the scheme is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of the residential scheme, from pre-construction through to handover.

* Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the project, including subcontractor management, site staff, scheduling, budgeting, and client liaison.

* Manage the installation of SFS frames and ensure all construction works align with design specifications and building regulations.

* Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards on-site.

* Liaise with the Housing Association client, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns or changes.

* Prepare and manage detailed project plans, risk assessments, and reports to the senior management team.

* Monitor and control the project budget, ensuring costs are controlled and efficiencies are maximised.

* Lead site meetings, ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Project Manager on residential schemes, particularly with housing associations.

* Strong knowledge and experience in the use of SFS frames.

* Ability to manage complex projects, overseeing multiple teams and ensuring timely delivery.

* Solid understanding of construction methods, regulations, and building codes.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to control budgets and manage costs effectively.

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications are essential.
