Axon Moore are excited to be supporting a well-established business in Accrington to recruit a new Head Of Finance. This role will be reporting in to the Managing Director. This role is paying a competitive salary of up to £70,000.Candidates must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.Responsibilities include:

• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with senior management to ensure financial targets are met.
• Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development of financial strategies to support the growth and operational efficiency of the company.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory financial requirements. Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure a smooth process.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the group’s cash flow, ensuring funds are available for operations and investments.
• Team Leadership: Manage a small team within the finance department, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
• Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
