Comton Group are pleased to be recruiting for an Maintenance Technician to work out of a successful manufacturing company for the automotive sector based in Tyseley.

Hours: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm

Salary: £39,000 - £45,000

You will be responsible for:

* Supervising others on breakdown activities

* Training staff on diagnostics and health and safety of the workplace

* Liaise and supporting staff within the engineering department

* Defining key problematic and costly areas

* Upkeep of machinery and daily checks to ensure they are safe to use

The ideal candidate will:

* Demonstrate problem solving and cost saving mentality

* Have previous experience training and supporting staff

* Be able to read customer drawings and specifications

* Have previous experience carrying out maintenance on manufacturing machinery such as guillotines, mechanical presses, conveyor systems etc
