CRM OfficerThe CRM Officer will be responsible for producing ad-hoc reports for members of the Fundraising team, as well as responding to requests for statistics from the Finance team.The ideal Candidate will have had previous NGO or charity experience ideally within a similar position CRM position.Who you will be working for?Our client is an independent global humanitarian charity located in London.  What would you be doing?As the CRM Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of the CRM system for the Fundraising team. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing regular data imports into the CRM system.
  • Providing data selections, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Supporting system development, team training, and running data cleansing routines.
  • Developing and maintaining system user guides.
  • Extracting supporter data for fundraising teams or third parties for donor retention and engagement.
  • Uploading data from third parties to provide a comprehensive view of supporter relationships.
  • Building dashboards to provide insight into giving patterns and generating reports for the Fundraising team.
  • Managing cleansing routines to keep records up-to-date and ensuring compliance with communication preferences.
  • Creating and maintaining letter templates in CRM and managing an annual review of these letters.
  • Providing core CRM training to new starters and ongoing training sessions for the Fundraising team.
  • Supporting CRM end-users and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Assisting with CRM development changes to improve system use and process efficiency.
  • Any other duties deemed reasonable as part of your role.
About YouThe ideal candidate for this role will be organised, flexible, and capable of managing a busy workload. You should have:
  • Considerable experience with CRM database systems, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and ETL tools such as KingswaySoft.
  • Strong programming skills, particularly in SQL.
  • Experience in segmenting and building data selections for supporter communications.
  • A systematic approach with the ability to meet regular deadlines.
  • Excellent numeracy skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Confident interpersonal and negotiating skills.
  • Self-motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage conflicting demands.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

The CRM Officer is a 9 month fixed term contracted position paying a salary of up to £39,689.92 (dependent on experience).
