In preparation for the retirement of a long-standing employee, this business is on the lookout for an Automation and Controls Engineer based in Northeast England. The successful candidate will receive full training from the outgoing Engineer.

About the role:
* Mon-Fri Dayshift - 37.5 hrs a week
* Be the site expert in Automation and Controls Engineering
* Use your experience with Siemens, Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley PLC programming to ensure smooth and efficient operation of fast paced equipment
* Support engineering team in completion of automation related maintenance
About you:
* Qualified Electrical Engineer (apprenticeship OR degree considered)
* 3+ years of experience of PLC experience (Siemens a bonus)
* Able to commute/relocate to the Northeast
* Experience in a manufacturing environment (pharma/chemicals/food/drinks/FMCG preferred)
