My client is recruiting for a new Financial Accountant role in Reigate.

Description

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure timely tax payments.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual financial reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions.

Profile

  • Proven experience as an Accountant, ideally within is preferable.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • May be working towards and Accountancy degree.
