About the Role: - Procurement & Supplier Management: You will lead all procurement activities for Goods and Services across key categories, including Consumables, Fleet, Utilities, and Technology. With responsibility for managing supplier spend up to £5m, you'll handle end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiations, and contract management, ensuring alignment with Ocado's Procurement Policy.
- Sourcing to Contract (S2C): Play a critical role in the S2C process, from initial sourcing to final contract execution, while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation at every stage.
- Supplier Evaluation & Negotiations: Consolidate procurement requirements across the Ocado Group, leading supplier evaluation and selection. You'll take charge of supplier negotiations to secure the best value, terms, and performance outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive best procurement practices and lead the implementation of strategic initiatives that enhance value, compliance, and efficiency within the procurement function.
About You: You must have a strong background in procurement with expertise in
S2C, contract management, and
supplier relationship management. Experience in Logistics, Retail, Consumer Goods, or similar industries is ideal. CIPS qualification is preferred but not essential. Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain key supplier relationships are crucial to success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs is required.
