Behaviour Mentor – SEMH School Do you have experience mentoring young people who have faced academic or social barriers? Are you looking for a role where you can make an impact on the loves of young people? This school is looking to add a behaviour mentor to the team to provide 1-2-1 and small group support for Key Stage 3 & 4 student with SEMH needs.This small SEMH school offers an outstanding education for students who have struggled to engage within mainstream schools. The experienced team of friendly teachers, mentors and TA’s tailor their approach to meet the needs of students and make a real impact. As behaviour mentor you will be working on a 1-2-1 basis with a students and delivering small group interventions. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, and you must have previous experience working with SEMH needs or challenging behaviours. Job Role:
  • Supporting challenging behaviours on a 1-2-1 basis.
  • Working as a Behaviour Mentor / LSA.
  • Acting as a positive role model for students.
  • Delivering 1-2-1 intervention sessions focused on communication and behaviours.
  • Helping students to reengage with education.
