My client in the Slough, Berkshire area is looking for a motivated and qualified HGV Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) while you will have the opportunity to be trained to Level 3 in EV technology and gain your IRTEC Licence.

Benefits:

Basic salary £50,000 OTE £60,000
IRTEC License paid for by the company
EV training to Level 3 funded by the company
25 days annual leave
5% company pension contribution
Uncapped commission scheme
Working shifts: 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pmResponsibilities:

Diagnose and repair a variety of HGV problems using specialised tools and equipment
Perform routine maintenance tasks on HGVs
Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and answer questions
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Stay up-to-date on the latest HGV and EV technologiesQualifications:

Minimum of 2 years experience as an HGV Technician (or relevant experience)
Strong understanding of HGV mechanics and electrical systems
Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 licence (HGV Class 1 preferred)
Experience working on a variety of HGV makes and models (preferred)
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
