Multi-Skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role within this manufacturer. They are a well-established business and are going through a period of sustained growth. Responsibilities

* Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to minimise production equipment downtime

* Carry out mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance routines to maximise equipment reliability, to reduce breakdown risk

* Seeking areas for improvement and recommending to Shift Leaders and Management

* Regularly check operation of plant and equipment to meet production, safety requirements

* Provide regular feedback and recommendations to improve the operability of plant machinery and equipment and reduce maintenance costs

* Participate in mechanical and electrical project work to achieve planned goals

Qualifications

* Multi-skilled and able to fault-find mechanically and electrically. Either bias will be considered.

* It is essential to have experience in a manufacturing environment.

* A logical mindset towards fault-finding with the ability to spot areas for improvements or long-term corrective measures

* Suitably qualified
