Bouygues Energies & Services has a fantastic opportunity available for a Care & Maintenance Engineer to be based between our Bristol office in Bradley Stoke and the Hinkley Point C site in Bridgwater.  
  
We have been awarded a Turn-key EPC contract for the Hinkley Point C (HPC) new-build nuclear power plant Emergency Diesel Generators. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in working on this incredibly unique and technically challenging project.

Job Purpose:

Plan and coordinate the C&M activities at all storage locations and HPC site including C&M Technician's tasks.

Execute the Care and Maintenance activities on stored and installed UK5211 assets with support from C&M Technician.

Produce C&M reports on executed work as per plan and procedures. Review C&M reports from C&M Technician. Ensure timely submission to Client.

Produce C&M asset management plans and procedures according to supplier specification

The Role:

Support the Asset & Site Logistics Manager in the execution of Care and Maintenance activities on stored and installed UK5211 assets according to developed C&M plans and procedures.

Responsible for producing C&M reports based on executed work and for review of C&M Technician reports. Ensuring monthly reports are submitted to client within one month of inspection execution.

Support the line management in developing site/asset management tools and execution documentation (RAMS, plans, procedures, permits to work…)

Planning, coordinating and supervising project site operations execution (including Care and Maintenance activities). Interface with Customer and Equans Construction Manager on site matters and working rules.

Support the Asset & Site Logistics Manager in maintaining the C&M and Logistics databases and other records and management systems.

Act as Incident Controllers, Permit Holder for identified Site activities.

Support in equipment receiving inspections and reporting as well as equipment call-off coordination from warehouse to site.

Liaise with near-site warehousing and prefab shop as needed.

Supervise the C&M Technician and installation teams for execution of activities.

Provide inputs to management to create a detailed erection/installation strategy and plan.

Request quotations from sub-suppliers and prepare purchase order requests for approval by the Cost Controllers.

Ensure that the sub-contractors Health and Safety plan is followed with respect to NNB operational requirements in safety standards and the master construction phase plan.

Ensure proper quality control as per the standards for Site Activities (procedure adherence, proper installation report such as FUD).

About you:

Mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications and practical experience.

Experience working in a supervisory role in a construction or industrial site environment, e.g. Power, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Water/ Wastewater.

Use of Microsoft IT systems. E.g. Microsoft, Office, SharePoint.
