GSL Education Newcastle is seeking a motivated Cover Supervisor to join our team in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a real difference in their education journey.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment by managing classes in the absence of the regular teacher. You will ensure that students stay on task with their learning and follow the lesson plans provided.

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

Supervise and manage a class of students in the absence of their regular teacher.
Ensure students remain engaged and follow the set lesson plan.
Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Provide support to students where necessary.
Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate school staff.
Requirements for a Cover Supervisor:

Previous experience working with young people is beneficial.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Right to work in the UK.
