The Role

- Lead project delivery, ensuring costs, schedules, and client satisfaction targets are met.

- Act as the key point of contact for clients, third-party bodies, and internal teams, handling both technical and commercial aspects.

- Identify and mitigate risks - commercial, contractual, design, and schedule - before they impact project success.

- Oversee financial management, tracking project cash flow, forecasting costs, and managing budgets.

- Define and drive project schedules, ensuring all QA/QC requirements are met.

- Take ownership of project reviews, presenting updates to Directors and senior stakeholders.

- Mentor and develop junior engineers, ensuring they gain the skills needed to step up in their careers.

- Support sales teams in preparing bids and technical proposals.

What You'll Need

- Proven experience leading engineering projects, ideally in the offshore sector.

- Strong understanding of mechanical, civil, or structural engineering, backed up by qualifications or extensive hands-on experience.

- A problem-solving mindset - the ability to identify risks, develop solutions, and keep projects on track.

- Financial awareness - understanding how to forecast costs, manage budgets, and ensure profitability.

- Leadership qualities - the ability to mentor, challenge, and drive teams forward.

- Experience with QA, risk management, and offshore installation processes.
