About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and actively participate in a major project in Shotton, Durham. This 12-month assignment requires a skilled professional who can effectively manage a team while contributing directly to on-site electrical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead a team of electricians, ensuring work is carried out to high standards.
* Assist with hands-on electrical work as needed to meet project goals.
* Coordinate daily tasks, schedules, and workforce allocation.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
* Liaise with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth project progress.
* Conduct site inspections, provide technical guidance, and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, with a strong background in hands-on electrical work.
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2).
* SSSTS/SMSTS certification is preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and plans.
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
