We are delighted to partner with Anglian Water and a looking for Senior Planning Coordinator to join our Alliance. within the IMRDS Water Planned Works team, managing both planned and reactive projects.
The Role:
The Senior Planning Coordinator is responsible for projecting the resource requirements for IMDS Water Planned Works Team to enable the delivery of key business targets. Working closely with the Senior Delivery Agent, Senior Engineer, and the Engineering & Construction Manager.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in:
- Ensure that on-the-day changes in resources are updated in the schedule, manage any jobs both planned and reactive
- Responsible for the management of the Planning Coordinators and Technical Administrators within your team.
- Liaise with field resources to ensure that work status information is current
- Comply with the Traffic Management Act requirements. Plan to minimise/avoid abandoned permits.
- Relay information to/liaise with key internal stakeholders (including restoration, TM, reinstatement etc.) to ensure jobs are completed correctly
- Minimise Teams travel time through efficient management, utilising mapping tools where applicable
- Collate and escalate as necessary any issues preventing efficient and effective planning of works.

We'll be looking to you to ensure that the team's administrative processes are efficient, effective and work priorities are met, so it's essential that you have proven previous administration experience and we'll expect accurate Microsoft Office skills with good intermediate knowledge of Excel and error free data entry. Ideally, you have a full understanding of Street Works Legislation
Great communication skills are also essential.
