One of London's leading financial management firms is on the lookout for a new IT Manager to join its growing team!

Overview:Our client is looking for an proactive and well-rounded IT Manager to lead its IT team to oversee the IT infrastructure & support function, manage a 3rd Line Engineer, plan & deliver complex projects, and maintain high standards of cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead and manage a 3rd Line Engineer.
• Maintain the Apple MacOS and Windows OS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage and administer the MDM platform, Jamf
• Manage and administer Okta
• Administer and maintain Windows servers, Active Directory, and VMware environment.
• Ensure network security and performance, including firewalls, VPNs, and other networking components.
• Manage and administer the Office 365 and Azure environment.
• Plan and deliver IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
• Maintain compliance with Cyber Essentials and other relevant cybersecurity standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our IT infrastructure remains cutting-edge.

Technical Skills & Requirements


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure or IT management.
• Experience managing a small IT team.
• Experience administering Jamf for a MacOS device management.
• Okta administration (or similar SSO platform)
• Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
• Virtualisation tools such as VMware or Hyper V
• Strong networking experience, hands-on with switches, firewalls, routers, and access points
• Familiarity with Cyber Essentials and other cybersecurity frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Project delivery experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
