A Nursery in Camden is looking for a qualified EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER to join their team as a keyworker,

The nursery aims to provide a range of high quality, integrated early years services for children aged 2 - 4 years,

This is a TERM TIME role and you will be required to work 30 hours per week therefore please only apply if you can commit to the following:

-Monday to Friday

-9am-330pm (30 minute break)

-38 weeks per year

-Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification

-At least 2 years experience in a Nursery setting

-Understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding & EYFS

-Excellent communication skills both written & spoken

You will be required to carry out the following duties:

* Working in a team

* Follow Nurseries policies and procedures

* Sharing innovative new ideas

* Ensuring the children's needs are met as well as keeping them safe at all times

* To be aware of the need to provide specific support to families identified with complex needs

* To attend curricula planning and other EY service briefing meetings as requested.

* To keep up to date with current good practice and EYFS Framework requirements by attending courses, training sessions, and workshops as required

* Communicate with children, staff and parents on a daily basis

* To ensure responsibility for the effective daily running of the rooms

* To have a sound knowledge of company policies, procedures and expectations

* To act as an excellent role model to the staff team being able to showcase high quality practice in all areas

* To take responsibility for excellent hygiene, health and safety and security practice within the nursery

* To work with outside professionals where required

* To work closely with parents and create trusting relationships with all families

salary £13-£15 per hour (depending on qualification/experience)
