About the Role:

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and experienced 1:1 Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the Cheadle area of Stockport. This role involves providing dedicated support to a child with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Individual Support: Provide tailored support to a child with SEMH needs.
Nurturing Environment: Foster a nurturing and supportive learning atmosphere.
Collaboration: Work closely with teaching staff to implement individualized education plans.
Skill Development: Assist the child in developing social skills and managing emotions effectively.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience working with vulnerable children, especially those with SEMH needs.
Compassion: A compassionate and understanding approach.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Availability: Ability to start immediately and commit to a full-time role.
