A well-established research and development business are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in Maidenhead, Berkshire. This is a hybrid role with the team working on site 3 days per week. 

The Embedded Software Engineer will be a key member of the R&D team, investigating new technologies to develop the next generation of products whilst also supporting and improving existing products.

Key responsibilities of the Embedded Software Engineer job:

Working collaboratively with a team of software and electronic engineers and the Engineering Manager
Design and development of new product concepts and solutions including requirements specification and architectural definition
Developing embedded software and firmware, primarily in C
Define and conduct qualification test procedures and supporting user and field testing
Key skills / requirements of the Embedded Software Engineer job:

Experience of the full product design life cycle 
Solid experience of software programming (Embedded C) 
Knowledge of electronics design processes and board bring up
