Are you a qualified and experienced English teacher passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with physical disabilities, complex medical needs, and associated learning difficulties? Our specialized SEN school is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. If you have the skills and compassion to teach Secondary age and post-16 pupils across two learning pathways, and to support with English (including literacy and phonics) across the whole school, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Secondary age and post-16 pupils across two learning pathways.
Support the teaching and planning of English, including literacy and phonics, across the whole school.
Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback.Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) is desired but open to other relevant qualifications.
Proven experience teaching English to students with special educational needs (SEN).
Strong understanding of literacy and phonics instruction.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
