Our client is a growing multinational operation who seek to hire a Group Financial Controller to join their UK business. The Group Financial Controller will take ownership of the consolidated month end results, annual forecasts and budgets, taxation, as well as producing all statutory reporting requirements for the group. The role will maintain control of all group reporting; ensure compliance on taxation matters; and provide timely and accurate reporting to various stakeholders of the business, including the Group Finance Director, the Parent Company and other Board members. This role also has management responsibilities and will be responsible for developing a team of 4 reports.Responsibilities:
• Co-ordination of the production of monthly consolidated group management accounts
• Co-ordination and consolidation of budget and forecast process
• Co-ordinate the production of financial reports to the Parent Company, Group Finance Director and other Board members where required
• Management of monthly submissions to the parent company
• Maintaining relationships with divisional management accountants and overseas subsidiaries to ensure a smooth flow of information
• Production and management of the annual statutory accounts
• Management of group taxation deliverables
• Management of UK and overseas VAT returns
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Produce additional analysis and reporting as required by the business
• Assist in the running of the year-end audit process
• Maintain the UK Group’s leases on Anaplan
• Maintain the Group’s UK contractor data set, as part of the Group’s IR35 compliance work
• Management of month end payroll reconciliations
• Management of weekly sales reporting
• Perform specific year-end provision calculations, including bad debts and holiday pay
• Team management - 2 Group Accountants and 2 Assistant Financial Accountants
• Support the bank administration across all banking platforms
• Ad hoc project workA salary of £75,000-£80,000 is on offer plus 10% bonus and upto 15% pension contribution.
