Astute's Power team is partnering with a CCGT Power Station recruit an Electrical Technician for site in North Lincolnshire.

The Electrical Technician role comes with a starting salary of £45,000 which will rise after probation, the benefits package including private medical and an annual bonus.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Electrical Engineer you will:

Perform planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical equipment.
Fault-finding and rectifying problems on electrical equipment,
Ensuring compliance with appropriate Heath, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards, policies and procedures.
Assisting with scheduled outage activities
Updating the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Read Electrical drawings and documents and interpret them as required to complete maintenance works.
Learn the site Safe Systems of Work and be trained on the permit to w

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

A minimum of a NVQ level 3 in a relevant Engineering discipline.
HNC in Electrical Engineering (strongly preferred)
IOSH Managing Safely
Any High Voltage certificates are highly desirable
