A fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Barnet are on the hunt for Aspiring STEM Teacher for an ASAP start. This is a full time, and long-term post.

You will be working across a Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Department, supporting KS3-5 lessons, while having a focus on attainment & the quality of learning. This is the perfect opportunity if you're an aspiring STEM Teacher looking to gain experience before enrolling onto teacher training.

The Head Teacher would ideally like a STEM Graduate with any of the following Science related degrees:

Biology (Science)
Chemistry (Science)
Geology (Science)
Natural Sciences (Science)
Mathematics & Physics (Science)
Mathematics (Maths)
Mathematics & Statistics (Maths)
Economics (Maths)
Mathematical Sciences (Maths)
Physics (Maths)
Computer Science
Engineering

You will have the opportunity to enrol onto a Salaried Schools Direct opportunity via the Secondary School either starting September 2025.

Carrying out GCSE & A Level interventions
Enrolling onto the STEM Graduate (Schools Direct)
ASAP Start - Full Time & Long-Term
£26,500 - £30,000
Located in the Borough of Barnet

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Must have a desirable degree from the above subjects from a reputable University
Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
Must be confident within your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum
You must be able to engage and motivate the students
Commitment and ambition to succeed is key throughout!
