Tradewind Recruitment are actively recruiting a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant to make a positive impact in one of our Secondary schools in Wrexham.
The role includes:
- 1:1 and small group support to an identified group of students, delivering engaging lessons tailored to a range of abilities, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
- Implementing effective behaviour management strategies to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assisting in the organisation and preparation of learning materials for a dynamic educational setting.
- Maintaining transparent communication with teachers, parents, and stakeholders is integral to supporting the overall development of students.
Requirements:
- Experience working in SEND or a similar educational environment - essential
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with special needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a supportive educational environment
- Hold an enhanced DBS and EWC
