Accounts Receivable Assistant

  • Job Type: Full-time, 100% office based in Reigate
  • Location: Reigate, Surrey
  • Hourly rate: £13.00- 18.00 per hour PAYE (dependant on experience) or £15.00- £21.00 via an umbrella company.
  • Length of assignment: Initially 2 months but with a good possibility of an extension or something longer term.
  • Start date: Need to start on no more than one weeks’ notice.

We are seeking a Accounts Receivable Assistant to oversee our incoming transactions and build strong relationships with customers. The primary focus of this role is to manage all aspects of billing, ensuring timely and accurate billing processes for our clients across all entities.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Manage and perform all customer billing activities, ensuring punctuality and accuracy across all entities.
  • Deliver a first-class billing service, coordinating and assisting with the development of the billing team.
  • Support the development of billing goals and ensure efficient billing processes.
  • Review and validate the billing platform for accuracy and adherence to client expectations.
  • Process sales invoices for assigned legal entities, regions, or clients/products as required.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of billing rules.
  • Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams with cost of sale reconciliations, ensuring all costs are correctly recorded.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the revenue operations process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or accounts receivable.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition, accounting standards, and accounts receivable/payable procedures.
  • Familiarity with the marketing, digital, or media industry and its services.
  • Ideally speak an additional language to English, specifically Hebrew, Dutch, Spanish or German.
