anzuk education are looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to take on positions in secondary schools and Primary schools in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. - We have Secondary and Primary positions.

As a Cover Supervisor/Cover teacher you will be supporting general cover and will be taking a variety of classes and different age groups. You will be responsible for classroom management but lesson plans will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervising and engaging students in their learning

* Deliver pre-planned lesson plans in a structured manner, across multiple subjects to children

* Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere

* Undertake additional duties, such as break and lunch duties, as and when required

* Since your primary role is supervising a classroom when the teacher is absent, you don't prepare lesson plans. The class teacher provides the teaching materials and items necessary for the lesson.

* Engage students with a range of teaching methods in order to maximise the learning of all students in the class

Requirements:

* A passion for education and a desire to inspire students

* Flexibility to adapt to various subjects and age groups

* Hold an Enhanced Child workforce DBS with an update service subscription, or be willing to apply for one

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* A positive and patient attitude

* Experience within a Classroom environment.
