* Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.45pm and 8am - 3.45pm (some flexibility can be offered).

Do you have a Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician or experience working as a Technician in an automotive / vehicle workshop / garage environment?
Your background as a Senior Vehicle Technician:
* You be qualified to at least Level 3 level or equivalent in an engineering or motor vehicle or mechanics or similar engineering discipline e.g., apprenticeship, NVQ, BTEC etc…
* A Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician or Engineering Technician with experience of working within an automotive / vehicle workshop or garage environment.
* You will have care and pride in your work - you will be working with high value test equipment and vehicles.
* Some previous experience of either supervising / managing other Technicians or providing training, mentoring, and guidance to other Vehicle Technicians.
Senior Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:
* Preparing a wide range of vehicles for specialist research and development tests and stripping vehicles following the completion of the tests.
* Fitting instrumentation to vehicles and removing following the completion of tests.
* Checking instrumentation and test equipment after testing.
* Use of data acquisition computer systems.
* Working with and supporting Engineers during tests.
* Supervising, training, and mentoring another Vehicle Technician or a small team of Vehicle Technicians.
