Altum Consulting are excited to be supporting a high-growth property developer in the BTR space to secure a Group Reporting Manager. Our client is listed in the London Stock Exchange and currently a number of exciting developments in the pipeline and an appetite to expand.
T

he role will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the group, manage a team of 3 and have a key focus on creating and developing a "fit for purpose" control and reporting environment as the business continues to grow.

Key responsibilities,

• Development and maintenance of internal controls as the business expands.
• Ensure collaboration with the wider business
• Delivery of month end close and management accounts in timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal reporting requirements.
• Administration and maintenance of core accounting system, property management system and PO system. Work with the data team to evolve systems and data management.
• Develop finance process for new activities and business ventures including expansion into new territories.
• Oversight of the teams, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of recording transactions, prompt payment of suppliers and collection of all income.
• Reviewing and authorising all supplier payments.
• Cash and working capital management and reporting.
• Team management, training and development of team of 3

Required Skill-Set,

• Educated to degree level
• Full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) with significant years PQE
• Experience working within the real estate or more specifically BTR sector
• Experience leading and developing a team
• A self-starter attitude
• Ideally some experience working within a listed business (desired but not essential)
