About the Role

As the Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial insights to drive business performance. You will be responsible for producing management accounts, ensuring financial controls, and supporting strategic decision-making within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis
• Managing accruals & prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Overseeing cashflow management and forecasting to ensure business stability
• Providing insight into standard costing and driving cost efficiencies
• Producing flash reports to track financial performance
• Acting as a business partner to non-finance stakeholders, translating financial data into actionable insights
• Supporting process improvements to enhance financial reporting and controls
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business strategy
• Monitoring inventory valuation and working closely with operations on stock control
• Conducting profitability analysis on product lines, identifying cost-saving opportunities

About You

• Part Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or Qualified with relevant experience
• Experience within the manufacturing sector is essential
• Strong management accounting background
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance teams
• Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
