Site Manager - Planned Maintenance (Harlow)
Location: Harlow
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to work on a maintenance contract on a block of flats in Harlow, covering scaffolding, roofing, and fire stopping works. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site management within the construction or social housing sector, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Coordinate scaffolding, roofing, and fire stopping works, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure project milestones are met, reporting progress to senior management.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
- Maintain accurate site records, including RAMS, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
- Work closely with clients, ensuring strong communication and stakeholder management.
Requirements:
- SMSTS, Asbestos Awareness certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years of site management experience, ideally within maintenance or refurbishment projects.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding, roofing, and fire stopping.
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure smooth site operations.
