Project Engineer Salary: £40,000 - £47,500 based on experience

Orion is partnered with a well-established FMCG Food manufacturing company based in Wrexham which is recruiting for an ambitious and driven Project Engineer.

Project Engineer responsibilities:

Supporting the Projects Manager with the planning, building, installation and commissioning of all elements of new build project work. 

Ensuring there is a safe environment for those who work in, or visit, any of our manufacturing facilities.

Identifying and delivering against opportunities to implement changes and continuous improvement projects to maximise plant efficiencies and energy optimisation.

Managing projects contractor performance whilst on site to ensure the most effective and efficient fix.

Supporting the introduction of new equipment to our market-leading production facilities as part of our continued drive for innovation.

Building effective relationships and communicating clearly with stakeholders, managing expectations where required.

Continuous professional development through industry specific training.

Working with our technical team to ensure audit readiness at all times

Project Engineer Required Experience:

UK Drivers license

Must have right to work in the UK

Project Management

Teamwork

Demonstrable experience within a similar projects engineering role, including the planning and delivery of new installations

Demonstrable hand-on experience of project planning, including the administration associated with production and presentation of GANTT charts, timelines, project plans, etc.

Time served multi-skilled engineer as this role will require hands-on support

Experience in food manufacturing

Great communicator

A true problem solver in all areas.
