We are recruiting for a experienced English and Maths tutor looking to join a friendly and supportive team. This role offers great career progression and flexible working.

As a Functional Skills Teacher you will manage a caseload of learners across a variety of programmes, teaching students in their work place along with class room based delivery in Nottingham.

Experience and skills Required

* Plan, producing lesson plans and delivering training sessions which motivate and develop learners

* Managing a diverse caseload of learners delivering in a variety of employers' environments and locations as well as class room based delivery

* Achieving required outcomes in English & Maths from Entry Level to L2 and/or GCSE

* Raise achievement levels for your learners whist supporting and motiving them

* Experience of delivering English and Maths (entry to level 2)

* Experience of working with and supporting mixed ability adults and young people

* Recognised teaching qualification

* Experience of dealing with disengaged learners

* Class room management

* Driving licence and own transport

* Subject specialism L5 desirable but not essential.
