They are looking for a Senior Fire Engineer to join their team in Bristol. This company are dedicated to delivering sustainable and cutting edge projects around the UK and internationally.

The role:

This is a perfect role for a Senior Fire engineer to further their career. The successful candidate will be working as part of a national practise of design professionals who deliver fire engineering design solutions. You will take responsibility for your own projects but also work collaboratively. You will work in a range of sectors from residential buildings through to rail transportation or new energy facilities.

Role responsibilities:

Manage multiple engineering projects from inception through to delivery in support of fire safety standards and codes.
Support the delivery of project work within time and cost budgets.
Keep up to date with regulations and legislation.
Developing fire engineering solutions on projects and ensuring the fire engineering strategy delivered.
Assess fire related risks in projects and working collaboratively to mitigate where possible.
Prepare reports, participate in meetings, and liaise with client representatives as required.

The ideal candidate:

Degree in Engineering, preferably Fire Engineering.
Track record in successfully delivering fire safety projects, but other sectors will also be considered.
Keen to work towards a chartered fire engineer status.
Experience working with fire standards, such as BS9999, NFPA 130, BS9992, EN45545.
Ability to write accurate reports.
