ROLE- Manufacturing Engineer

LOCATION- Berkshire

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £42,000- £48,000 per annum dependent on experience (Please advise what you're looking for)

My engineering client are looking to take on an experienced Manufacturing Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Berkshire area.

The Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

NVQ/ HNC / HND / Degree qualification in an Engineering subject preferred
4 years' or more experience working in another engineering manufacturing environment
Excellent knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Good knowledge of FMEA, PPAP and APQP
Experience working with Document Control and BOM generation
Any knowledge of HSE and COSHH regulations would be beneficial
Be familiar with ISO9001 quality standards
Be able to pay close attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Able to work well alone as well as part of a small teamThe Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer role will involve:

Supporting the engineering and production team with the manufacture / development of products
NPI coordination
Providing engineering support for production activities
Preparing work instructions for manufacturing processes
Being involved with process development
Raising and also processing ECN's
Making sure all processes are in line with Health & Safety requirements
Creating and updating BOM's
Ensuring the correct jigs, fixtures and tooling are used for all processes
Presenting monthly reports
