Position Overview:

As the Complex Care Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our complex care services. You will oversee a team of care staff and work closely with our clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure that our services are delivered to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex care management and a passion for delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and supervision
Ensure that all care services are delivered in accordance with CQC standards and company policies and procedures
Develop and maintain care plans for clients, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated
Liaise with healthcare professionals and external agencies to coordinate care and support for clients
Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained
Manage recruitment, training, and performance management of care staff
Provide support and guidance to clients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
Monitor and manage budgets and resources effectively
Participate in on-call duties as requiredRequirements:

Previous experience in a complex care management role
Registered Manager status with the CQC (or willing to become registered)
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions
Experience in budget management and resource allocation
