Communicate Recruitment is currently working with an exciting Property organisation. They are looking for a talented Group Accounts Manager to join their finance team.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Group Accounts Manager to oversee the consolidation and reporting of financial results for the group. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, provide accurate and timely financial reports, and support strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a strong understanding of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and FRS requirements
  • Coordinate and manage the group’s external audit process
  • Develop and implement robust financial reporting policies and procedures
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to senior managemen
  • Preparation of the consolidated IFRS financial statements and consolidated management accounts
  • Preparation of the Group’s quarterly judgements and estimates paper
  • Review Balance sheet reconciliations including financial analysis of working capital balance
  • Managing the external audit process

Qualifications:

  • ACA qualified (with a strong Audit background - Big 4/Top 6)
  • 4-6 years PQE
  • Previous heavy sector experience: Property, Development, Mining, O&G
  • Group reporting experience
  • Strong understanding of IFRS (???????????????????????? ???????? 9) and UKGAAP
  • Exceptional analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
