Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Project Controls Risk Engineer to join our clients team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive project control responsibilities, focusing on risk control and management processes. You will support the Project Controls Manager in cost management, planning, production control, and reporting. Key tasks include maintaining breakdown structures, aligning risks with P6 activities, and collaborating with package managers and commercial managers to identify deviations and facilitate corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and develop Work, Cost, and Risk Breakdown Structures (WBS, CBS, RBS).
Facilitate implementation of Project Controls Management processes, emphasising Risk Management.
Implement and update risk management procedures and the Risk Management Plan.
Coordinate program, estimate, cost, and risk management systems using project software (P6 and Prism).
Develop and maintain the project risk register, produce periodic risk reports, and facilitate risk management for SPMs.
Handle variations and change control processes to maintain performance measurement baselines.
Conduct cost checks, analyse trends, and identify risks, assisting risk owners in assessing risk costs.
Liaise with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure process adherence.
Support preparation of presentation materials for Performance Measurement Updates, focusing on risk.
Technical Competencies:

Proficiency in IT systems, particularly advanced Excel.
Understanding of contract types and compilation of contract documentation.
Knowledge of project planning, risk management, and cost control techniques.
Experience with Primavera P6 and EVA techniques.
Familiarity with risk management processes and cost risk assessment.
Qualifications, Certifications & Experience:

Relevant experience in Cost, Planning, and Risk management environments.
Experience in construction and a good understanding of other Project Controls functions.
