Workshop Assistant

Location: Salisbury

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Hours: 8am-5:30pm mon - thur, 8am-5pm fri

The Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their team in their Salisbury offices.

The successful candidate will be required to assist in the preparation, cleaning and maintenance of small plant machinery and tools to make ready for sale and hire.

Working alongside their Senior plant Mechanic and hire desk team the candidate will ensure hire fleet equipment is prepared to a high standard, report paperwork completed, and the work area is kept clean & tidy to a high standard.

It will also be necessary for the candidate to make occasional site deliveries, so a full driving license will be required, and prior experience of site deliveries will be favourable.

Additional duties will involve pick and packing of stock for and dispatch via couriers & loading of company vehicles with goods for dispatch.

Skills and Qualifications
