Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:15, Friday: 08:30 - 16:00

Job Description:
Syntech Recruitment is working with a dynamic and expanding company seeking an Installation Engineer to join their team. This hands-on role involves the survey, installation, and commissioning of site-based control systems and equipment, primarily focused on electrical installations with occasional PLC programming support (training provided). You'll work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.

About the Role:
We're looking for a resourceful and adaptable Installation Engineer with strong electrical skills, ideally with experience in electrical installations and control systems. This position requires extensive travel to sites, with hotel accommodation provided for long commutes.

Key Responsibilities:

Survey, install, and commission control systems on client sites
Collaborate with team members on installations or work independently when required
Read and interpret electrical diagrams for control panel wiring
Complete detailed reports on installation and commissioning work
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standardsSkills and Experience:

Electrical qualifications (C&G, BTEC, NVQ3, ONC, or HNC/HND) with 18th edition certification
ECS Gold Card holder (or training provided if you have NVQ3)
Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical installation or service roles
Electrical Design including EPlan, AutoCAD or equivalent is advantageous
Clean UK driving licence
Strong problem-solving skills and good communicationBenefits:
