Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer to join a global engineering manufacturer.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer will ideally be both electrically and mechanically competent with some knowledge of programming.

The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer shall carry out pre-planned Service, Installation and Breakdown visits on a wide range of strapping and stretch wrapping machinery.

Responsibilities:

Carry out pre-planned Service, Installation and Breakdown visits on a wide range of strapping and stretch wrapping machinery and associated electrical/mechanical equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments
Full product training provided
Will ideally be based in in the Midlands or Yorkshire but be flexible to travel across the UK and Ireland. 

Requirements:  

Experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Service Technician or similar.
Field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering equipment.
Full UK driving license.
Flexible for overtime/part of the on-call rota.
A technical electrical/mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous
