Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to join our client in West Sussex

This Permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity to act as a lead practitioner within a multi-disciplinary team, taking referrals, triaging, and prioritizing cases based on risk.

Role Responsibilities:

• Undertake Mental Health Act Assessments (MHAAs) as part of a rolling shift pattern.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments, ensuring that risks to the individual and others are identified and managed.
• Liaise with partner agencies, such as healthcare professionals, social workers, police, and other service providers, to coordinate responses and actions as needed.
• Maintain awareness of changes to mental health legislation and best practices to ensure a high standard of care.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience as an AMHP with extensive knowledge of the Mental Health Act
• Valid driving licence

Shift Pattern:

Rolling rota, 8 week repeating pattern that essentially consists of 7-3 shifts one week and 2-10pm another and includes some weekend hours, bank holidays (additional pay when worked) with an enhancement of 18%.
Fixed enhancement of £4,471.56 per annum paid monthly at £372.63
